“I am actually voting for LACSON as I feel under the current circumstances he has what it takes to crawl us back to economic growth, institute discipline in government and weed out or at least mitigate corruption. When it comes to drugs and criminality, we know his background is best suited and his record will speak for itself. I also expect the country would get better in Fiscal Responsibility and prudence as shown by his advocacy in Pork Barrel and Budget Reform. In short, i hope and expect better days for our country under his administration.
On Pacquiao, he may not be articulate but he is intelligent and continues to learn. His academic credentials are weak and he may not have the full grasp of what he will be facing as President and that is a concern. One thing is sure, he does not need money and like Lacson hates corruption and drugs. But his faith in God might be gifted with Solomonic wisdom and having that would allow him to make wise decisions where well-credentialed Presidents have failed. Remember all of our past Presidents except maybe Erap failed in many areas despite years of credentials under their belt....

And unfortunately, we Filipinos have a long history as bad voters. We are known to elect and reelect, again and again, crooks, crooks we’ve previously ousted, idiots, and their family members.
It isn’t enough to vote. We need to vote smarter.

Ping Lacson gains ground in Odiongan, Romblon
Some multi sectoral groupings of Out of School Youths, workers and learners manifest their support to the presidential candidacy of Senator Ping Lacson in 2022.
The youths and workes believe in the integrity and leadership of Senator Lacson. The group thanked the good Senator for pursuing reforms in budgetting, education and its support for the workers.
They also cited Senator Ping’s efforts against corruption and for scrutinizing lump sum budgets of the government. His partnership with SP Tito Sotto will be for the good of the Filipino people.

Lacson Salutes State Auditors for Flagging Potential Corruption

Sen. Panfilo M. Lacson on Thursday saluted state auditors for heading off corruption by flagging irregular transactions by various government agencies.
Lacson said that without the Commission on Audit (COA)'s reporting, corrupt officials would have had free rein to misuse and abuse already-limited resources.
"Imagine a country without state auditors… kanya kanyang kupit, kanya kanyang kurakot," Lacson said in a post on his Twitter account.

He cited the Commission on Audit (COA)'s flagging of several questionable transactions not only in the Department of Health but in other agencies such as the Department of Budget and Management Procurement Service (DBM-PS), Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), and Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), among others.
Lacson maintained the COA is an independent constitutional body that has a mandate to perform. He added transparency dictates that the public, especially Filipino taxpayers, have the right to be informed of how their money is spent.
In an interview on Quezon-based DCG FM, Lacson also reiterated that consistency is the key to good governance and stomping out corruption.
"The key is consistency. If you have one standard for friends and allies, and another one for everyone else, you won't succeed," he said.
"I cannot get tired from stressing this: our biggest problem is bad governance. But the solution also lies in good governance," he added.
